(Will and Emerald Lake)
These were the only pictures I took, and I had to force myself to take them. (When you help tourists take pictures all day, you get a bit sick of cameras.) We saw about 3 bear and 1 Porcupine on our way to and back. Whitehorse is about 110 miles north of Skagway, and also has the closest WalMart and movie theatre. We watched the new Star Trek movie, which I thought was so awesome in spite of the obvious juggling of time and space to make the "new adventures of Kirk and Spock" possible. Hey, it was cool effects and the acting didn't stink badly at all. We had fun. I bought yarn and Will got a jacket that makes him look posh just like his brother Metro. Will has really trimmed up around the waist, and I swooned at him in this new jacket. The exchange rate makes it so that we spend "less" money. ...so we end up spending more because we're spending less... lol. I just tried not to blow ALL of my tip money.

We're doing so well. Our relationship has been healed. We love and understand each other. We have been focussing on gratitude and returning honor to God for all we have been blessed with. The land around us, each other, all the resources we're being given to help pay off our debt. We're looking forward to a really great summer, now that it is upon us.
For the past few weeks, Will and I have been batting around the idea of starting an Organic Food store. This is something that fits right in with the direction I have wanted to go in for years. Will, on the other had, has been very troubled for the past year or so. It has been difficult for him to face the fact that his 20's are almost over and he doesn't have a degree. In addition, the field he wanted to go into (Architectural Engineering) will take so long to school and intern for, he sees now that it would be better to move forward with something else.
Will has made it a matter of sincere thought and prayer. We discussed it at length yesterday as we drove 2 hours up and 2 hours back. Finally last night, we offered a prayer of thanks for our rich blessings and marital peace and also the answer as to what would be good for Will to persue. Will has decided to get a Business degree and devote the rest of his time to opening a Natural Food Store in the Topeka area. I'm totally excited!!! I get to stay in the Topeka area to be with my sister and her baby on the way, and I get to persue performing with the bellydancing troupe I belong to, and I get to help my husband persue the only dream he has spoken of consecutively for the past year: owning his own business.
The idea is still in the fetal stages, but we both have a great feeling about it, and know things will go our way... I make Will sing
this song for me whenever he gets bummed out. It seems to do the trick. :) We're
so in love--our second anniversary is on June 2, 2009.

Like my new hat? I had to buy one. As you can see, touring has turned me pretty pink, and you can't see, but my hair is bleached from the northern sun--very strong! This isn't the best angle for either of us, but we were too tired to try harder. If you catch us when we're fully awake, we both look happier and very vibrant and healthy. Everyone should be able to see land like this and breathe fresh air and drink glacial water. >sigh< One day.
Wish you all were here.
