All kinds of things have changed. Almost all of my siblings and I are married, and so are my cousins. I was delighted to talk to my uncle again, this time as an adult. I found out he's actually a really fun guy...and my aunt is one of the sassiest and most caring women on the planet. I love them both. I wish I could have had them around as I was growing up. The years had brought them more happiness and peace...what a blessing. We discovered that they were taking the 'long way' to their son's house and doing genealogical research as they went. That evening, my mother and I got to pick their brains about the past 15 years. Best of all, I got to hear a lot about my Mom's side of the family...people I came from that I never knew and still feel very distant from. Now that's what Genealogy is about.
Will and I had a little tiff, and so while I was at the store I bought him this happy summer shirt to cheer him up... only 5 bucks! For RAYON! I am such a great bargain hunter. (actually, a few days later, I wore the shirt myself...lol...it's rayon! You can't let rayon just sit in a closet! Not during Summer! )
Aloha, Will! :)
